Easter Celebration

Easter was celebrated on Tuesday 3 April 2012. Schneller students received gift packages kindly sent from churches in Germany through the Assyrian Church in Lebanon in coordination with the National Evangelical Church in Beirut. Both churches kindly decided to include all Schneller students in this gift program from Germany. Our children were delighted to receive those packages as they had not been included in the Samaritan Purse gift program for the last three years, and they were missing those gift packages. We express our thanks to both churches for including Schneller children in this program.
A special Easter dinner was served to all children of the Boarding Department on Tuesday at 6:30 PM. The Easter service followed at 7:00 in St. Michael's Church. After the service all students received the traditional Easter gift which was a big chocolate egg. Easter and Christmas gifts, are provided to all our children through kind grants provided yearly by BibleLands. We express our sincere gratitude to BibleLands and the wonderful BibleLands supporters for those wonderful gifts that bring happiness to our children every Christmas and Easter.
The Easter holiday started Wednesday 4 April at 3:30 PM. Classes  resumed on Tuesday 17 April at 7:50 AM.
