Schneller Founder's Day and Lebanese Independence Day 2018

Schneller Founder's Day, which falls on the 11th, and Lebanese Independence Day,Founders Independence 2018 which falls on the 22nd of November, were celebrated in Hermann Schneller Hall on Thursday 22 November 2018 at 1:00 PM.
JLSS teachers, trainers, educators, members of staff, and students attended the celebration. Teachers, trainers, and students worked hard to prepare the program which was very nice. It included parts in English, German, French, and Arabic.
The dances were prepared by our sports' teacher Mrs. Souad Akroush.
The nice stage-background was prepared by Mrs. Akroush and Mr. Elie Farhat.
Our new music teacher, Mr. Nicola Hadddad, also participated in the program.
The sketches in German, French, English, and Arabic were prepared by the teachers of the respective subjects.
It was very nice to see the high standard of French among our students thanks to Miss Josephine Mansour who is doing an excellent job teaching French.
The participation of students of the Vocational Department was also very encouraging.
We thank all our teachers, trainers, and students who prepared the program and participated in it.
Attending the program was Mr. Ghassan Shehadeh, chairman of the Alumni Association in Lebanon, with other members of the association. They presented the school with two 65-Inch televisions for classrooms.
We are installing huge television screens in every classroom for teachers to use Office 365 in teaching. Many were installed in the Academic Department. It was time we started installing some in the Vocational Department.
One of the televisions will be installed in the new technical-drawing classroom, and the other in another class of the vocational department.
We express our sincere gratitude to the Alumni Association in Lebanon, its chairman, and members present, for their support and the two televisions they donated to our school.
Happy Founder's Day and Happy Independence Day!
