German and Danish Guests

EVS committee member and old friend of JLSS, Anselm Kreh, arrived to Schneller with a tour group from Germany on Saturday 27 October 2012. The group stayed in our guesthouse until November 3. The group consisted of church members and supporters of Schneller schools. They visited the various departments of JLSS and had a meeting with the director to follow up on JLSS news and developments. They visited various touristic places in Lebanon. We thank them for their visit and for supporting our school through staying in our guesthouse.

A group of German and Danish pastors who are on a sabbatical in the Near East School of Theology in Beirut visited JLSS from 2 to 3 November 2012. Renate Ellmenreich, Carola Krieg, Katrin Höpfel, Jngeborg og Arne Kappelgaerd, and Wolfgang Grieb arrived Friday morning. Mr. Martin Bernhard, guesthouse manager, showed them around the school. They had a meeting with the director and then explored the area around JLSS. Sadly, on their return from that walk, Wolfgang tripped in the dark and broke his foot. He had to return to Beirut for medical treatment. We wish Wolfgang a speedy recovery.
The other members of the group stayed overnight in JLSS and visited Baalbek the next day. We thank them for their visit and support of Schneller schools through their various churches.
