Schweizer Verein Group Visit 2013

three-member group from our Swiss Partners SVS,
Schweizer Verein für die Schneller
Schulen im Nahen Osten,
visited JLSS from 15 till 17 October 2013. The group included the
president of SVS Rev. Ursus Waldmeier, along with Dr. Hans Pfister and former JLSS
volunteer Tobias Schicker. They had various meetings with the director
to discuss micro-projects supported by SVS which include the Summer
School Program, Psychologist Support for the Boarding department,
support for Palestinian students, and also support for Syrian refugee
students. Various aspect of the JLSS partnership with SVS were discussed
and future cooperation was emphasized. We thank Ursus, Hans and Tobias
for their visit, and we thank them and SVS for their kind support of
JLSS programs.
